Air-Tro Inc. announces that it has processed more than $20,000 in rebates for commercial cooling and heating projects in Los Angeles. Last March, Southern California Edison selected Air-Tro Inc. as one of the qualifying local service contractors its "Early Retirement" HVAC rebate program. Since its launch, Southern California Edison has processed more than three million dollars in rebin its service territory. To ensure that work done through the Early Retirement Program meets quality standards, SCE restricted participation to a small pool of a few dozen highly qualified commercial HVAC service provider in the region. In the program each unit which is replaced with a high efficiency system qualifies for $400 per ton in rebates.
Customers have been urged to learn more about the program from Air-Tro Inc., one of the highly qualified contractors allowed to offer this in the region. "Air-Tro Inc. is your one-stop source for all your air conditioning and heating needs," said the company spokesperson while appealing to customers to take advantage of this limited time offer.
How the program works:
Southern California Edison offers incentives to the local contractors to install new high efficiency HVAC units at a reduced cost. The contractor establishes unit eligibility, and then together with the customer work hand in hand to select a replacement high efficiency unit that is right for the building size and customer needs. Participating in this program gives the building owner a great opportunity to improve the performance of their heating and cooling system.
